For Syngenta’s data scientist and visualization engineers, the siloed IT environment presented real problems. Like an iceberg, 20% of the company’s data from trials, R&D, and field observations were visible. Syngenta’s senior data architect found a reproducible and scalable way to integrate the silos of data with the help of CompilerWorks. Creating a set of data marts on Amazon Redshift, Syngenta assimilated data from 60 different sources, integrating the entire technology, process, and product lifecycle of the Syngenta Group.
